I have a Death Adder mouse from Razer and I am having problems programming it to work for BF2. Does anyone else have a mouse that works properly with BF2 on Vista?

I tried to install my older mouse, but the Firmware isn't compatible with Vista64. I updated some of the firmware for the Razer, but still no luck.

I have 2 Alternate buttons on the side I programmed to R and Z so I can reload and go Prone without having to fiddle with the damn keyboard. However, now I will press the button and my dude just stands there and gets shot.

I am getting shot by people I should be able to rule over...this is kinna pissing me off!! I still managed to engage a dude wielding a G3 and kill him with a knife...so I am not that rusty.

Check out their tech support forums, I've got a Habu and never had problems, but I just have Vista 32.

Damn and I just thought that you sucked or were playing as the United Nations Army.....

Here is a link. From all I read it seems like you have to have the firmware updated to the latest then install the drivers. What has the world come to when you have to update firmware for a mouse....

I have the Firmware at 1.10, however I can't update Firmware using a 64bit OS, I have to use a 32Bit. I tried it on my Laptop that is 32bit and it didn't load...a few times.

Christ...for a gaming mouse this thing sucks.

Oy! It wasn't the mouse that made me die it was me that made me die as I was trying to figure out what the hell the Prone Button was! I had never used it so I was fumbling around meanwhile my dude was standing there absorbing bullets.
